E-Bill of Lading

Revolutionise your shipping process with PIL’s eBL!

An electronic bill of lading (eBL) is not just an electronic version of the paper bill of lading.

It is a combination of a globally-accepted legal framework and technology that are provided by platforms approved by P&I Clubs. By being paperless, it is also eco-friendly as it replicates the functions of a paper BL in a digital way.

The electronic features make documents creation, approval, distribution, tracking easier than paper BL.

Secure

Reduces tampering, loss, and unauthorised alterations. Minimises human error and reduces disputes.

Efficient

Reduces manual paperwork and admin overheads. Accelerates seamless transactions to allow real-time eBL transfer.

Accessible

Allows seamless collaboration and effortless sharing from anywhere.

Sustainable

Reduces paper usage, printing and physical transportation.

Our eBL solution, in partnership with WaveBL, will significantly improve the ease, security, efficiency, and sustainability of PIL’s trade documentation process. It will provide a fuss-free experience for customers, making it a seamless transition to using eBL for shipments. A unique feature of the eBL allows the shipper to be on the platform without the consignee needing to be.

Results are expressed in tons of CO2e actually emitted between Port of Origin and Port of Delivery. The CO2e footprint should not be confused with the performance of the service usually expressed in grams of CO2e / teu-km. The CO2e footprint is expressed in WTW (Well-to-Wake) and using an average vessel filling factor of 70% is applied, in accordance with the revised methodology of the Clean Cargo Working Group. Figures provided should be considered as an indicative information.

NO RESULTS:This means the service between the 2 requested ports is not offered by PIL for the time being.

The estimated carbon emissions generated should be considered indicative only, and is not intended to be relied upon. PIL does not warrant the completeness and accuracy of the estimates, and shall not have any responsibility for the same.

e-Service Provider Portal (eSPP)

PIL’s e-Service Provider Portal (eSPP) is a web-based application which allows terminals or depots to submit container movement status to our Liner Management System (LMS) without relying on standard EDI messages such as CODECO or COARRI.

This is especially useful for terminals and depots that do not have the EDI capability, empowering them to upload container movement status without going through our local offices. With eSPP, we can ensure accurate and up-to-date information of container movement status.

For enquiries, please contact EMDContainerControl@sgp.pilship.com

LMS eInvoice Portal

PIL’s LMS eInvoice Portal is a one-stop web-based portal which allows service providers, depots, and terminals to easily submit their invoice details to our system and get the data transferred on time without going through our local offices.

Through the LMS eInvoice Portal, we can ensure accurate and up-to-date information of invoices to our system.
